Essential Oils that can promote healthy respiratory function are Cardamom, Respiratory Blend, Lime, Douglas Fir, Frankincense, and Melaleuca.
RESPIRATORY BLEND is a remarkable blend of Essential Oils including Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Ravensara, and Cardamom. RESPIRATORY BLEND maintains feelings of clear airways and easy breathing while minimizing the effects of seasonal threats.
Since RESPIRATORY BLEND contains peppermint and eucalyptus, it is not recommended to be used on the chest of children under 12 months old. Some people can also be sensitive to these particular oils, so make sure to test these oils topically on Mom several times while holding baby and make sure that baby responds nicely to them.
Feel free to also experiment with the other oils listed above as they are very effective in opening airways as well. Some babies may respond better to different oils.
The PRE-MIXED RESPIRATORY BLEND roller and the RESPIRATORY BLEND VAPOR STICK are great for on-the-go Moms.
NURSERY USES
• Diffuse one drop RESPIRATORY BLEND with one drop Lime, keeping the nursery door ajar.
• Apply the Respiratory Blend Vapor Stick onto the bottom of baby's feet and put socks on.
• Apply any of the above oils (diluted) to a nursing Mom's chest to help keep baby's airways open while nursing.
CAUTIONS: Possible skin sensitivity: use only on baby's feet. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or under doctor's care, consult your physician. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after application.
